Survey on Students’ SatisfactionBeginning with the 2007-2008 academic year the Survey on Students’ Satisfaction has been initiated at “Babes-Bolyai” University. The analysis of students’ satisfaction represents an important item in the process of quality internal monitoring in order to identify the necessary actions required to permanently improve the quality of the education provided and at the same time offers an indication of the University concern to gain access to the students’ point of view. Setting the students’ needs as a starting point, the Centre for Quality Management has designed an evaluation questionnaire targeting the students’ degree of satisfaction regarding: the teaching-learning activities, the information available regarding University admission, the tutorial system, the courses schedule, the materials available, laboratories, courses and seminars rooms equipment, administrative services, student organizations, accommodation conditions, counseling services provided by BBU. The results of this survey aim at identifying students’ point of view regarding: 1. the areas that enjoy a positive feedback and the deficiencies in the services and facilities offered to students within the University and 2. the areas that students regard as essential for ensuring their satisfaction concerning their student life within BBU. The results obtained constitute an input in the process of elaborating the strategy for the University development by channeling its actions towards the deficient aspects pointed out by students in each faculty. Moreover, the feedback given by students constitutes an essential contributing factor to the internal evaluation of the university activities. |

ProcedureEvaluation Procedure for the Students’ Satisfaction at Babeș-Bolyai University Student’s Satisfaction ReportsThe results of Student Satisfaction Survey at Babes-Bolyai University trendence European Student BarometerThe European Student Barometer is an annual survey conducted by Trendence Institute (Berlin), which offer to european students the opportunity to express their views on their career and educational system. From its debut in 2003, the number of students in the survey has increased steadily, reaching over 195,000 participants last year, thanks to partnerships with over 775 universities from 22 European countries. Babes-Bolyai University participated for the first time in the 2009 edition of the European Student Barometer. The 2010 edition was named trendence Graduate Barometer 2010. Current edition is called trendence Graduate Barometer Europe 2011. |
